2. The Question paper will be of 100 marks.
3. The Time Duration of exam will be 2 1/2 Hours.
4. The exam will be Hindi and English language.

Exam Syllabus : The exam syllabus of LET for 9th class is as follows:

English : Comprehension (Unseen Passage), Word and Sentence Structure, Spelling, Rearranging jumbled words, Passivation, Use of degrees of comparison, Modal auxiliaries, Use of prepositions, Tense forms, Reported speech etc.

Hindi : हिंदी वर्णमाला, विराम चिन्ह, शब्द रचना, वाक्य रचना, अर्थ, शब्द-रूप, संधि, समास, क्रियाएँ, अनेकार्थी शब्द, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, देशज, विदेशी (शब्द भंडार), वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग में होने वाली अशुद्धियाँ.

Math : Rational Numbers, Squares and Square Roots, Cubes and Cube Roots, Exponents and Powers, Direct and Inverse Proportions, Comparing Quantities (Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest.), Algebraic Expressions and Identities including Factorization, Linear Equations in One Variable, Understanding Quadrilaterals (Parallelogram, rhombus, rectangle, square, kite), Mensuration: a) Area of plane figures, b) Surface area and volume of cube, cuboid and cylinder, Data Handling (Bargraph, pie chart, organizing data, probability).

Science : Food – Crop Production and Management; Microorganism; Food Preservation, Materials I – Synthetic fibers; Plastics; Metals and Non – metals, Material II – Coal and Petroleum; Refining of Petroleum; Fossil Fuels; Combustion and Flame, Living / Non living; Cell structure and Function; Conservation of Plants and Animals – Wildlife Sanctuary and National Parks, Reproduction – A sexual and Sexual Reproduction, Reaching the age of adolescence, Force – Frictional Force; Gravitational Force; Thrust and Pressure, Light – Reflection of Light; Multiple Reflection; Human eye; Care of the Eyes; Sound; Human ears; Loudness and Pitch, Audible and inaudible Sounds, Chemical Effects of Electric Current; Electroplating, Natural Phenomena – Lightning; Earthquakes, Pollution of Air and Water, Solar system; Stars and Constellations.
