home tab has five groups: Clipboard, Font, Paragraph (circled below), Styles, and Editing. A dialog box is opened when you click on the arrow in the bottom corner of a group. The dialog box gives more options and commands to format documents in one given area.

There is a total of 5 groups on the home tab, such as Clipboard, Font, Paragraph, Styles, and editing. Four from them is described in details below,

  • Clipboard - In the clipboard, we can see there are total of 4 options, Paste, cut, copy and format painter. The clipboard group is located on the Home Tab's far left side.
  • Font - In the Font, we can see there are several options, like font size, style, color, highlight color, and along with that,  grow font, shrink font, clear format, change case, subscript, superscript, underline, bold etc. All of the Character Formatting commands are accessible through this group.
  • Paragraph - In the Paragraph, we can see there are several options, like bullet, numbering, spacing, shading, intent, alignment etc. The Paragraph Group is concerned with the arrangement of text in a paragraph. Users can make lists, alter indentation, sort things, display paragraph formatting, align text in a paragraph, adjust line spacing, fill shapes with color, and draw borders.
  • Styles - In the Styles, we can see there are several options for styling, like Strong, Heading, Title, Body, etc.
