4x² + 21x = 6x - 14

4x² + 15x + 14 = 0

4x² + 8x + 7x + 14 = 0

4x(x + 2) + 7(x + 2)= 0

(4x + 7)(x + 2) = 0

by equating the factors= 0
You, will get its root

x = -7/4

x = - 2

Values of x are -2 , -7/4

4 {x}^{2}  + 21x = 6x - 14 \\ 4 {x}^{2}  + 15x - 14 = 0 \\  \\ 4 {x}^{2}  + 8x + 7x - 14 =  \\ 4x(x + 2) + 7(x + 2) = 0 \\ (x + 2)(4x + 7) \\ x =  - 2 \\ x =  - 7  \div  4
