Daily Routine for IAS Preparation:
Its great to have daily routine for civil services preparation. It ensure that you are going in the right direction and utilising your time efficiently and effectively. But don’t think that making an ambitious schedule will do all. Its all about implementing and strictly following your schedule each day. Even if your target is less but you complete those targets each day then you will definitely perform well.
I attempted the UPSC CSE exam six times, written Mains 4 times and interview 3 times. Obviously, I was not following right books and right strategies during my initial attempts. That’s why I failed miserably in first few attempts.
But learning from CSE 2015 topper Ms Tina Dabi, I made a proper study schedule with daily, weekly and monthly targets to achieve. I strictly followed this during my 5th and 6th attempt. Hence, due to positive these changes I Qualified CSE 2016 and CSE 2017.
Also study schedule differ during different phases of the examination. Hence, I had different routine during Prelims, Mains and Interview stage of preparation. This is because all the three stages require slightly different approach and strategy. This does not mean my Prelims and Mains preparation are incoherent.
