We know that,

acceleration= velocity /time.
10 mins= 10×60= 600 seconds
therefore ,

a=40/600= 1/15m/s².

Thank You!☺️

Have a nice day.

tnwramit1: make correction in ur ans dear velocity is in km/hr

u = 0
v = 40 km/h
t = 10min = 1/6 hr

we know that
v = u + at
where a is the uniform acceleration

40 = 0 + a*1/6
a = 240km hr -2

Akshaymas: the time must be calculated in seconds
Akshaymas: seconds is the SI unit of time
Akshaymas: ot hrs
Akshaymas: not hours
diyanu: U r confused
Akshaymas: no
diyanu: Ok
neosingh: speed is in km/hr
diyanu: understood
Akshaymas: tq
