it means that u will face hard ships and difficulties while pursuing education but when u finally come through it you will finally taste the sweet fruit of ur hardwork. hope helped

that's simple ....
we work hard and sacrifices many favorite ones to get education during our studying thus the roots of education is bitter but after sometime when we get a good job our every sacrifice become worthy so the fruit is sweet.
eventually we become happy although we have been suffering a lot.....
