I can teach how to find those u just take the atomic no of a element for e.g. a element has 17 as atomic no. so 1 shell will compulsorily will have 2 electrons the we have 15 electrons remaining then 2nd shell will have 8 electrons we are left with 7 electrons left now the 3rd shell can have electrons from 8 to 18 so now the element can easily relies 1 electron so the valence of that element is 1
