Answer:

25.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say total students = 20x

Boys = 11x

Girls = 9x

30% of boys passes = (30/100)×11x =3.3x

20% of girl passed = (20/100)×9x = 1.8x

Total passec = 3.3x + 1.8x = 5.1x

Pass % = (5.1x/20x)*× 100 = 25.5%

The ratio of the number of boys to the number of girls is 11:9.
Let, the total no. of boys be 11x and total number of girls be 9x.

Thus, total number of students in the class is = 11x + 9x = 20x.

Now, 30% of the boys passed.
So, total number of boys passed
= 30/100 * 11x = 33/10x = 3.3x.
Again, 20% of the girls passed.
So, total number of boys passed
= 20/100 * 9x = 9/5x = 1.8x

Thus, total number of students passed
= 3.3x + 1.8x = 5.1x

Thus, percentage of total students passed
= 5.1x/20x * 100 = 5.1 * 5 = 25.5 %

Hence, the percentage of passed students of the class is 25.5%

Hope this helps,.
