cycle for son=x/4

total amount spent =x/5+x/4=9x/20

now he gave remaining amount to wife =2750...(1)

also remaining amount=x-9x/20=11x/20...(2)

so from (1) and (2) we get

11x/20=2750

so x =2750*20/11

x=250*20

so x= 5000

bonus recieved was Rs. 5000
