Here is your answer.

We can't see the stars in day because the light of sun is much greater than star.we also know that the star has not their own light.

Hope it helps you.

If you are asking about the stars we cannot see in our sky, then no one  knows about them, but they are billions, and many of them already died, and they are billions of kilometers away from us, when they exists.

However, we may not able to see many other stars due to various reasons, where the primary reason is 'Light Pollution', which is any amount of light which abstructs our view while we are looking at the sky. The biggest sourse of light pollution is the Sun, which obstrusts our view so much during the day that we even can't see the Moon. At night, when the Sun goes to the other side of the earth, the second sourse of light pollution becomes our own modern cities. The lights that illuminate our buildings and roads, also obstruct our view of the sky and the stars. Apart from these, air pollution also plays a major role in this.
