Answer:

a) Cuscuta has no chlorophyll and cannot make its own food by photosynthesis. Instead, it grows on other plants, using their nutrients for its growth and weakening the host plant. So it is categorized as a parasite.

b) They have a bacteria called rhizobium in their root nodules which convert atmospheric nitrogen into nitrogenous compounds which was later absorbed by plant. They gain enough nitrogen for that so the farmers didn't need to apply nitrogenous fertilizer separately.

c) When wheat dough is left in open, formation of fungus and reproduction of yeast present in it starts taking place. Growth of fungus gives it a foul smell and presence of this microorganism makes it unfit for consumption.

d) In the absence of green plants, there would not be the process of photosynthesis. So, there won't be any plants resulting in no food. Besides oxygen which is essential for the survival of all living organisms is produced during photosynthesis. Thus, we can say that life would be impossible on the earth in the absence of photosynthesis.
