Let the cost price of 1 greeting cards = 1.

Then the cost price of 20 greeting cards = 20.

Selling price of 16 greeting cards = Cost price of 20 greeting cards = 20.

Now,

We know the selling price of 16 greeting cards.Let us find the cost price.

Cost price of 16 greeting cards = 16 * 1 = 16.

Here, Selling price > Cost price. So, Gain has occurred.

Now,

We know that Gain = Selling price - Cost price

                                = 20 - 16

                                = 4.

We know that Gain% = (Gain * 100)/CP

                                   = (4 * 100)/16

                                   = 400/16

                                   = 25.

Therefore, the gain% = 25% - Option (B).

Hope this helps!
