Momentum = P
P = MV

K = mv²/2
Divide right hand side by m/m
K = m²v²/2m
K = (mv)²/2m
K = P²/2m

Let body 1 has mass (M= 1kg) and Kinetic energy K1
and momentum P similarly let body 2 has mass
(m = 4kg) and momentum P and kinetic energy K2

K1/K2 = P²/2M × 2m/P²
K1/K2 = m/M
K1/K2 = 4/1
K1 : K2 = 4 : 1

Kinetic energy =1/2mv^2
Let body A be have mass m1=1kg
Let body B have mass m2=4kg
Its given that both the bodies are having equal linear momenta
Use the fact that K=p2/2mK=p2/2m, where the variables K,p,mK,p,m are the kinetic energy, momentum, and mass, respectively. Since the moments are equal, the kinetic energy of the lighter mass is 4 times that of the heavier one.
