Step-by-step explanation:

given : AB ║CD

          ∠C = 45° , ∠A=25°

To find : x = ?

Proof  : ∠C = ∠B [Alternate interior angles are equal if both the lines are                     parallel]

So , ∠C = ∠B = ∠45°

let the other vertex of the triangle be ∠E

Then , ∠A + ∠B +∠E = 180°

        25°+45° +∠E =180°

          ∠E = 180 - 70

         ∠E  =110°

     ∠E + x = 180°   [straight line = 180°]

     110° + x = 180°

             x   =  70°
