Nice question!!

Let's start-

◆volume of water hitting wall in 1sec.

A×v
A-area
v-velocity

◆Mass of water hitting wall in 1sec.

 pA×v

 p- Density of water.

Initial momentum of water is

m×v–»( pAv)(v)
= p Av^2..

Final momentum is zero (as told in question velocity is zero)
.

Force=change in momentum

force =A {v}^{2} p \\ 1000 \times  \frac{50}{100 \times 100}  \times 0.3 \times 0.3 \\  \frac{45}{100}  \\  = 0.45 \:
