Answer:

The counting numbers N={1, 2, 3, ...} are commonly called natural numbers;

the counting numbers along with zero are called whole numbers W={0, 1,2,3.....}

all negative numbers, positive numbers, zero together are called integers I={......... -2, -1, 0,1,2..........}

numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q where p, q are integers and q is not equal to zero are called rationsl numbers Q={1, 2,2/2........}

numbers which can't be written in p/q are called irrational numbers S={√2, √3, π........ }

rational numbers and irrational numbers together are known as real numbers R={1, √2, √3, 4.........}
