In ΔAOB and ΔCOD , we get:-

1). ∠AOB=∠COD (Vertically opposite angles)

2) AO/OC = BO/OD  ( given)  

Therefore according to SAS similarity criterion, ΔAOB∼ΔCOD

Hence ,

AO/OC = BO/OD = AB/ CD

∴AB/ CD = $\frac{1}{3}$

$\frac{AB}{1.5}$ = $\frac{1}{3}$

AB = 0.5

Ans :- Value of AB will be 0.5 unit.
