yes appearance can be misleading...She was a girl who mostly kept silent...and she used to sit at the last bench...She claimed to have hundred dresses...the dresses which she wore was shabby so Peggy and the rest girls made fun of her thinking that the was dull and didn't have the sense to think that they were making fun of her....
But in real she understood everything...but never reacted to it...
moreover she was very talented artist...as she painted 100 dresses pic and all were beautiful..due to which she won the competition...On the contrary...Peggy was rich but not able to win the competition..
