Applications of ultrasound are:-

1.It is used to detect the parts of heart called cardiosonography.

2.It is used to detect cracks in a metal block.

3.It is used to detect the depth of ocean, distance and direction of object inside ocean.

4.It is used to clean some parts of machines where human is out of reach like cleaning in spiral tube etc..

5. Ultrasound is transmitted inside body to form the image of tissues and oragans of body on a screen which is called ultrasonography.

6.It is used to form the image of foetus during pregency.
