The lyric like the greater part of Whitman's work has an em-stuck structure with clear verses through which he describes the creatures' uncomplicated and straightforward nature.

Whitman talks about his requirement for a less difficult life by showing a craving to run and live with creatures.

He portrays creatures as benevolent animals which are separated from natural wants.

Here is the answer ..

\Animals

"Animals" is a poem written by an American poet " Walt Whitman" .
In this poem, the poet compared human beings and animals with each other.

This poem is written in the free verse .
Hence, there is no Rhyme Scheme.

The theme of the poem is, Animals have preserved many virtues like innocence, simplicity but human beings have destroyed them over a period of time due to negligence.
So the poet wishes to be like animals and be with them. It's a revolutionary idea, expressed beautifully in the poem.

The poet has made use of Figures of Speech such as Alliteration, Repitition , Hyperbole etc.
