April + June + May = 90 sweets -------(1)

May = 3/4 × June ----- (2)

April = 2/3 × May -----(3)

substitute (2) in (3)

April = 2/3 × 3/4 × June

= 1/2 × June

substitute in (1)

1/2 × June + June + 3/4 × June = 90

2×June + 4×June + 3×June = 90

4

2×June + 4×June + 3×June = 90×4

9×June = 90×4

June = 90 × 4

9

= 40 sweets

Answer - (D) 40
