aq. ferric chloride turns blue litmus red why​

because metal form basic oxides, chlorides. as ferric chlorides is basic it changes blue litmus into red

HEY MATE HERE'S YOUR ANSWER ;

An aqueous solution of FeCl3 salt undergoes hydrolysis and releases H+ ions from the stronger acid HCl formed.

Hence, the resulting solution is acidic and turns blue litmus red.
