If age of Peter = x
Age of Arasoi = x+4
Age of Ali = x-2
Therefore, sum of their ages =( x+4)+(x-2)=47
x+4+x-2= 47
2x+2=47
2x=47-2=45
x=45/2 = 22.5
Thus age of Peter is 22.5
age of Arasoi=22.5+4=26.5
age of Ali =22.5-2=20.5
