Now let us assume the total amount of work is 72.

So efficiency ( amount of work can be done per day) of Mani is=[72/36]= 2.

Similarly efficiency of Arvind= [72/24]= 3.

Now total efficiency of Arvind, Mani and Hari is=[72/8]=9.

So efficiency of Hari is= [9-(2+3)]=4.

So Hari can do the work in (72/4)= 18 days.
