Given :

Current = I= 2A

time = t=,10s

net charge = q=?

Formula :

I= Q/t

Q= Ix t

= 2 x 10

Q= 20 Coulombs

∴the magnitude of net charge ‘q’, flowing through the resistor in time, t=10 s is 20 C

Answer:

  • According to the question, Aravind sets up a current, I= 2 A, across a resistor.

  • We have to find, What is the magnitude of net charge ‘q’.

  • Flowing through the resistor in time, t=10 s? q =___ C.

Know terms:

  • Current = 2A
  • Time = 10s

Formula:

  • Current = Net charge/Time
  • Net charge = Current × Time
  • 2 × 10 = 20

.•. 20 Coulombs is the answer.
