Archemides principle says that when a body is fully or partially immersed in fluid, it experiences an upward force that is equal to the weight of fluid displaced by it.

Buoyancy depends on 3 factors :-

Density of fluid

Density of substance

And g (9.8m/s ^2)

Density of fluid remains same and we take g as constant on earth (however it differs from poles to equator).

So the only thing that may vary is the density of substance. Each and every substance has its unique density. If some impurities ate present, then the density would vary.. Hence the buoyant force will vary. This is how archemides checked purity of gold crown ...
