Solution:

62.5  liters of water were drained each minute

Water completely drained in 8 minutes

=> initially water in tub = 62.5 * 8  =  500 litre

Water Drained Every minute = 62.5 litre

Water Left after x minutes  =  500 - 62.5x

Water left  = y

=> y  = 500 -  - 62.5x
