So extreme terms are 8 & 9

Middle terms are 15 & 5

Product of extreme terms = 8 × 9 = 72

Product of middle terms = 15 × 5 = 75

Now $\sf{72 \ne \: 75}$

So the numbers 8 , 15 , 5 , 9 are not in proportion
