All the metals are malleable and ductile with the exception of mercury (Hg) as it is in the liquid state and it's state can't be changed. Other metal have this as bcoz they are hard as they are in solid state. ... These metals also not show this property as they are soft metals.

all metals are not malleable of ductile there are still some exceptions, like, sodium is a metal but cannot be beaten into sheets or wires as it very soft and can be cut with a knife.
