this is more like an opinion so I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to it. But I do believe that all religions are the same at the core. The main religions are Islam and Christianity followed by judaism, buddhism and hinduism. These religions all believe in the same creator (Allah, God, Yahweh)  and those are the different names they call the same being. So the core is basically believing in something that is greater in power than any other beings. The differences are only the subthemes that Islam states, only one god, Christianity states god and son, etc., So technically the answer is yes all religions are the same at the core.
