Dear Mike,
How are things going for you in Norway? I hope everything with your education is going well. I was delighted to receive your letter dated June 2, 2022. I must tell you that the letter made a significant contribution to filling the void created by your abrupt departure for Europe, I must also let you know that you are dearly missed by everyone in India. Sometimes, our friends and I try to picture the kind of lifestyle you will be leading in that location with their particular climate.
I must add that I was incredibly happy to read that you wanted me to move to Norway with you in your letter. I'd like to use this chance to express my gratitude for being so considerate and kind to me despite all of your other friends.
However, Mike, I am sorry to turn down your invitation. I ask you to try to understand and have some patience with me. I am aware that you are eager to learn the reason I denied your invitation.
I don't want to leave my parents alone, which is the main reason I won't go to a distant nation. Since I am their only child and you are aware of how I feel about leaving them to age alone, Secondly, although moving to a new location would be an amazing experience, I don't feel ready to leave my friends and family behind just yet. Thirdly, I recently began working for a reputable organization, and I am making a lot of effort to achieve my objectives. and I want to carry out all of my plans here, in my nation, alongside my loved ones.
I hope you will understand and don't forget to respond to my letter. I wish you the best of luck in Norway.
Your friend,
Nick

Dear Armin,
How are things going for you in Sweden? I hope everything with you and your education is going well? I was delighted to receive your letter dated June 25, 2014. I have to tell you that the letter went a great way toward replacing the void you left when you abruptly left for Europe in quest of greener pastures. I also want to let you know that everyone in Nigeria misses you terribly.
I must express my gratitude for your message because it was both useful and timely. I went over the contents again and again, making sure there was nothing missing. The third paragraph, in which you describe how you were recently embarrassed in a restaurant for not knowing how to handle people and knives, was my favourite. That story made me laugh so hard that my stomach nearly burst. Well, it's a shame you let that happen to you because I recall encouraging you to do something about it before you went on your trip, but you ignored my advise.
Now, you state in your letter that you want me to join you in Sweden, and I must say that I was ecstatic to read that section. I'd want to use this chance to express my gratitude for being so kind and polite to me among all of your many friends. However, I regretfully decline your invitation, and I ask that you kindly try to understand and bear with me. I'm sure you're eager to learn why I turned down your invitation. The reason for this is that my mum is ill and need immediate treatment.
I have to be with her all of the time because I am the first son; I am now gainfully employed in the country after many years of looking for work; and, finally, the security situation has improved since the president is doing everything he can to guarantee that the citizens are well protected.
I wish you all the best in Sweden, and please respond to my letter as soon as possible. Take care of yourself. I love you.
Your best friend,
Mikasa Ackerman
