Aplanospores are spores that are produced by asexual mode of reproduction in fungi, algae and protozoans. These are non-motile spores.They do not exhibit flagella. These spores on germination produces cell wall distinct from the cell wall of the parent cell. Sporangiospores are spores that are produced only in fungi by asexual mode of reproduction. These spores can be motile or non-motile. These spores exhibit flagella which facilitates their movement. Based on these features it can be concluded that aplanospores and sporangiospores are not same.
