  • These are milk adulteration, adulteration of turmeric, oil adulteration etc.

One example of it is as follows:

  • If there is any presence of metanil yellow in Turmeric powder, this will show the pink colour in presence of concentrated hydrochloric acid and few drops of water.
  • If small bubbles are released by this, this is the indication of presence of chalk.
