Are divisions inherent to the working of democracy?

A democratic govt. is for the people,by the people and from the people. Yes Social divisions are inherent to the democracy, because:

                                           1.  A democratically govt. stands on the vote of the citizens, hence the caste of the citizens to vote doesn't matter,but the models represented by the political parties depends upon the leader. Hence the leader chooses the candidate on the basis of the rich or the poor caste.

                                           2. In India there are 7 major parties, which draws inspiration from many, mainly BJP( Bharatiya Janatha party) which promotes Hindutva the most.

                                          3. As we mentioned , the selection of the leader depends upon the voting system.So the people from same caste vote for those parties which promote their caste or which support them.for example: In Ireland, The major vote was given to the protestants who were the majority.
