Are drives such as hard drive and floppy drives represented with drive letters? If so why, if not why?

Yes bro.... Hard drive.... And floppy drives.... CD drive... Are represented with drive letters
... Generally but it depends upon you whether you want to change them or hide....

They are shown by the system.. Because... It simplifies the location of a file by doing so.... The system as well as are able to locate a file.... Easily... That's why these drive letters are assigned by the system by default.....

A drive letter is a single alphabetical character whose range is from A to Z.

It is assigned to a physical drive of a computer system.

Drives in computers with floppy drives are represented with A:.

Computers with a hard drive will always be represented in the form of C:.

But if we want, we may rename it as per convenience for easy recognition.

Additional drives can be easily added with ease as per requirement.
