Technically, from my perspective, the birth star tells the character and attributes about the person born under that moon sign, so that helps to measure the compatibility between individuals with their characteristics or attitude. From what I could see, horoscopes, sun signs, moon signs all are some ways to find the best puzzle piece for the one we currently looking for. Apart from the moon signs, the Thidhi(day of the month), Karanam and the Nithya Yoga give a picture about the person’s character a little more.

From my perspective and knowledge, horoscopes are a way of understanding life or looking deeper into it. Everything in vedic astrology is completely math and every techniques formulated by our ancestors centuries ago are just math.

From a philosophical point of view, it’s just belief, and to believe something, you gotta understand it first. Many people don’t seem to understand astrology and see its mechanics and so get a negative opinion on it, or don’t believe it.

It’s what I could say from my perspective and knowledge, I do not assert anything to be true.
