7 + 2 + 9 + 0 + 0 + 0  = 18

Let us add it's digits. we get..

1 + 8 = 9

Hence, we get the digit root as 9. And we know that a number ending with 1, 4, 7& 9 are perfect squares..

So we can say that 729000 is  a perfect square......
