they are non living because if we take a bone out of body it does not show any living characterstics in fact it does not so much living characterstics in body ...

Bones are made up of colagen,protoplasm,etc.
These are the hard structural tissues attached with the muscles and also a composition of calcium and in the absence,have a deficiency of rickets and do not have oxygen content in it. Bones are biotic and alive also.
