Many continents occur in the middles of plates, not at their boundaries or edges. Plates also underlie the Earth's oceans. A single plate often includes both continental and oceanic regions. So your answer is No, the edges of plate boundaries isn't the same as the edges of the continents.

There is a natural sensibility to Geology’s Theory of Plate Tectonics. Obviously, continents have moved, because of the puzzle-like fit of the continent edges across the Atlantic Ocean.
