Yes,The Fundamental rights contain the rights common in most liberal democracies such as equality before the law, freedom of peaceful assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of association, freedom to practice religion and rights to constitutional remedies for the protection of civil rights. It is also described in the Indian Penal Code that breach of these rights results in punishment. Every citizen has the right to enjoy for these rights for the pleasant progress of his/ her personality. These rights universally apply to all citizens
