None of the local ecosystems like ponds, lakes and rovers can be declared safe.
That’s because they are not protected from the daily pollutants they are receiving.
It’s not just the industries showering pollutants on the water bds. Pollutants leech into the water by many other means, human and animal activities etc.
Besides, many ponds and lakes are endangered due to land filling activities by humans to increase land area for constructions.
