No, the lines would not be parallel.

For the lines to be parallel, a1/a2 = b1/b2 ≠c1/C2

But here, a1/a2≠b1/B2

So there exists a unique solution, thus they are intersecting lines.

Hope this helps

Answer:

No. The lines are intersecting and have a unique solution

Step-by-step explanation:

x-3y-5=0

2x-5y-7=0

a1/a2=1/2

b1/b2=3/5

c1/c2=5/7

Thereforea1/a2\neq b1/b2\neq c1/c2

a1/a2is not equal to b1/b2 not equal to c1/c2

Therefore the lines are intersecting
