I think u should b more specific while asking question by stating which kind of simulation.however no problem if question is once asked it dhould be answered.
•human emotions,thoughts and feelings are simply interplay of hormonal activity of body.most of enzymes, hormones even rna which produces it has been synthesized in vitro.
•if that is the case then a system can be created in future in which all chemical physiology occur coordinately and human personalities to a great extend can be stored in it.interactive videogames are first step to such a metaverse which was established recently.
•further,all the humans can interact and feel each other in virtual world so effeciently that we dont know,for sure,that we are in a virtual world.
So for these reasons we might be living in virtual world created by other advanced community.and there is ahigh probability for that if we take an estimate of current occurences.but keep away from all these thoughts as this may depress you and live your life efficiently.there are several other people in world trying to explain all these constantly depressing thier mind.

Hey,if we found the world empty n nothing to achieve then definitely we find no reason to live.thus eventually or soon they will bcm depressed
Moreover psycology state that most of mental disorders and illness stems from deep thinking n one who thinks deeply and reaches inner layers of creation ,shattering norms of social life ,would be identified more eccentric by other fellow beings.
And they simply call those peoples insane bcoz that person dont like to live a social indulging life like other fools do.
