Topic - Are we happier than our forefather
Good morning everyone present here, how many of you agree with me that our great-grandparents and their parents have lived better life than we do? Please raise your hand if you think so. There seems to be an equal response. Well I, when speaking with consideration of the people who agree with me will for sure know what kinds of adventures that they have been through. Like living in a place where money wasn't the most important thing than that of the family relations, where "Ohana" means "family." "Family" means "no one gets left behind." was the main motto. Now a days people are behind monetary things which for sure I agree that will buy me luxury, take me to places that I haven't even dreamt of but at the end of the day money can never buy me comfort that my family can provide me.
Our forefathers were adventurous, they would travel to places by foot. They constantly searching for new things they were never lazy and thought about easy money like we do now a days. They used live under the ruling of kings and kingdoms. Even if money and taxes matter back in those days too they only wanted what was required by them. They all believed in 'live and let live' i.e. sustainable development. They also cared for what the future generations might need, they thought of the upcoming generations but now a days we don't even think tomorrow, thinking of future generations is on a next level.
We are living in the 3rd millennium and I don't think this is the happiest time to be alive because we prioritize greed than need. Now people are suffering from more and more deadly diseases than back in those days. Yes you might think that but even in those days people use to have these diseases but they weren't aware of them yet, well then question is for you do you think the diseases caused these many death back in those days too. The answer for the question is 'No'.
Thank you for listening and paying attention.
