Is this question needs to be asked? See all around you, and you will automatically realize what the truth is. If you don’t have the time to ponder over this truth, here it is. We have not only become dependent on computers and mobile phones, but we have become addicted to them also.
Mobiles and computers have become a source of major distractions for everyone, especially the students and youngsters. Young boys and girls seem to have become inordinately addicted to mobile phones and computers. They are thoughtlessly and uselessly wasting their precious time on these useless sites.
The overuse of mobiles and computers has posed serious health issues. Radiation caused by microwaves emitting from network towers as well as mobile phones, eyesight getting affected due to exposure to mobile screen for hours, etc. are some of the health issues. Besides, mobile phones are also responsible for difficulty in concentration, fatigue, headaches and sleep disturbance that can further trigger health complications. Owing to late night use of mobile phones, the youngsters skimp on sleep which further causes health consequences. This has made them aggressive and irritated.
The other major disadvantage of the increasing use of such networking sites is the spread of obscenity. This is having a very negative impact on the impressionable minds of our young children and leading them astray.
How Can We Reduce It?
The only solution to check this dependence and addiction is putting some monitoring and check on their use. Parents, teachers and the government must look into the problems being caused by mobiles and these networking sites and must formulate a strategy either to curb or completely stop its fast growing negative influence on the minds of our youth. Their use must be restricted and monitored.
Our youth is the future of our nation. We cannot allow this youth to waste their precious time on mobiles doing the Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter, etc.. The same time must be spent on studying, researching and developing leadership or other life-skills. It is our moral duty as well as responsibility to lead our youth on the right path and teach them to make best use of these wonderfully gadgets to improve themselves only.
Tips to reduce mobile addiction
In today's world,where we are becoming totally dependent on technology,
the mobile addiction is very much in the scene.Today it has become a neccesity to
have a mobile.But we must not ignore our health due to our mobile addiction.These
days parks, market and mall are always empty because people are busy using mobiles.
We may use laptops instead of mobiles but due to convenience we use mobile.
But the real question is how to reduce this mobile addiction.We must make a
timetable,then follow it.We must reduce the time of mobile and make a list of the work
that we need to do in the time we do not use mobile.Due to our mobile addiction,we
are avoiding important work too.Same we must do with children too because they
dont study and play due to their mobile addiction.We must buy some simple indoor
and outdoor games for children because now it is very very important for them to
excercise and stay fit.If we will keep sitting and use mobile then we may become
obese.
