Stonehenge is where the pagans celebrated Halloween.  Samhain otherwise known as  The Celtic festival is celebrated to commemorate the end of Summer and the beginning of the Autumn In Celtic Ireland.  During this time, the departed souls were believed to visit their homes. This was later named as Halloween
