Newton's first law of motion talks about the qualitative nature about force.
The meaning of first law of motion is that an object tends to resist the change in motion(tht we introduce it to).
The tendency of an object to resist the change in motion is "inertia"
Therefore newton's first laws of motion is also called law of inertia
(in simple words 1st law talks about inertia and hence it is called so)
