Let other parallel side be x

area of trapezium = 1/2×(sum of measures of parallel sides)×height

156=1/2×(9+x)×12

156/6=9+x

x =26-9

x=15

so the other parallel side is of length 15cm

We know that, Area of the trapezium = 1/2(a+b)h .

Let the one side be x

156 = 1/2( 9 + x) 12

156/6 = 9+x

26 = 9 +x.

17= x.

Length of other parallel side is 17 CM.
