Area of a Triangle = 1/2×base×hight

We have been given the base as 3x +5

and the height as 4x

Substituting the values in the formula, we get:

Area of a Triangle,

 \frac{1}{2} \times 3x + 5 \times 4x

 = \frac{4}{2} \times 3 {x}^{2} + 4x

The area of the triangle will be = \frac{4}{2} \times 3 {x}^{2} + 4x
