Given:-

Radius of the circle is 98cm

To find:-

The area of the circle.

Formula to be used:-

Area of a circle = πr^2

Solution:-

r = 98cm

∴ area of circle = πr^2

                         = \frac{22}{7} × 98 × 98

                         = 22 × 14 × 98

                         =  30,184cm^2

More to know:-

Perimeter of a circle = 2πr

Area of a sector = Θ/360° × πr^2where, Θ = central angle of the sector

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Radius of the circle is 98 cm.

To Find :-

The area of the circle.

Formula to be used :-

Area of the circle =

\pi \: r  ^{2}  \:

Solution :-

r \:  =  \: 98 \: cm \: \\  \\ hence \: area \: of \: a \: circle \:  =  \: \pi \: r \:  ^{2}  \\  =  \: 22 \div 7 \:  \times 98 \times 98 \\   = 22 \times 14  \times 98  \:  \\  = 30184 \: cm ^{2}
